I remember that clip and it was the only time I could find the page, but I could not upload into the file. I'm surprised it even showed up. Please tell me about using the meta data editor.

OK, lets talk about using the Metadata Editor. Lets use this clip as a sample: http://www.archive.org/details/CEP_00_0001 You can just go to the bottom left hand corner of the page and you will find a button marked EDIT ITEM. If you click on it you should go to the Metadata Editor Page. At the top of that page you will find a button marked ITEM MANAGER. If you click it then you should go to Item Manager Page. Near the top of that page you should fine a button marked CHECKOUT - EDIT ITEM FILES (Non XML). That will take you back to the FTP page that I talked about in the video, The one highlighted in Red that I said was my preferred method of uploading videos. If you click on the button it should lead you to a password challenge. Fill it in and hit enter and you should now be in the folder that you want to load to. Now diminish the page/folder and go to the place on your hard drive where you have the video you want to upload stored. Select the video, copy it and then go back to the diminished folder, open it, and hit paste. That should paste the file into the jacket. If it loads correctly then click the button on the left marked CLICK HERE WHEN DONE. You should be done and the Redwing Blackbird will sing. One more thing. You said you lost the page. The contributions page is a good place to look for it. You should find it here: http://www.archive.org/contribute.php Go to "tasks yet to be completed" when you have a missing page and you may find the missing page there. It sounds like you almost have this beat. Sure hope some of this helps.

It's just not going to work. Nothing can be transferred and nothing can be copied. I keep getting little signs like "The item you are trying to edit cannot be retrieved from a 'primary US node." Then a sign keeps popping up asking me if I'm sure that I have permission to move these files. I even had my son-in-law -- the Microsoft expert -- over here trying to help me. So, in short, the red wing blackbird is not going to sing -- at least not that way. I think my stubborn streak just gave up the ghost. Thank you for all your help. It is definitely time to get a new computer, as I said before -- a Mac.

Just an update note for anyone who reads this thread thru in the Forum........Mr. Price got his computer to upload his videos without the need of a Specialized Adjustment Tool (Large Hammer). Persistence does pay off!........I just love a Happy Ending!.............
